Scanning URLs against databases of malicious and phishing URLs with IM Anti-Virus

To configure IM Anti-Virus to check URLs against the databases of malicious and phishing web addresses:

1. Open the application settings window.
2. In the left part of the window, in the Anti-Virus protection section, select the IM Anti-Virus subsection.

   In the right part of the window, the settings of the IM Anti-Virus component are displayed.

3. In the Scan methods section, select the methods that you want IM Anti-Virus to use:
   • If you want to check links in IM client messages against the database of malicious web addresses, select the Check if links are listed in the database of malicious links check box.
   • If you want to check links in IM client messages against the database of phishing web addresses, select the Check if links are listed in the database of phishing links check box.
4. To save changes, click the Save button.
