當您啟動 Light Agent 時，它會建立並維護與虛擬機 SVM (Secure Virtual Machine）的連線。SVM 上部署了 Protection Server。Protection Server 是一個 Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent 解決方案元件，用於掃描檔案中是否存在病毒和其他惡意軟體、更新防毒資料庫並管理產品授權金鑰。Light Agent 可將需要掃描的檔案片段傳送到 SVM。掃描結果適用於所有安裝了 Light Agent 的虛擬機（SharedCash技術）。因此，SharedCash技術提高了解決效率並能更快地應對威脅。
