Software requirements for the protected device
Windows Installer 3.1 is required for proper installation and operation of the application on a protected device running Microsoft Windows XP.
To install and use Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes on protected devices with embedded operating systems, the Filter Manager component is required.
For correct operation of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes, SHA-2 support in Microsoft Windows is required. For detailed information, see knowledge base on the Technical Support website.
You can install Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes on a device running one of the following 32-bit or 64-bit Microsoft Windows operating systems:
Desktop operating systems:
- Windows XP Professional SP2 and later 32-bit / 64-bit
If a Portable Scanner is running on a device with this operating system, writing of network traffic cannot be performed on this device.
- Windows Vista SP2 32-bit / 64-bit
If a Portable Scanner is running on a device with this operating system, writing of network traffic cannot be performed on this device.
- Windows 7 SP1 and later Home / Pro / Enterprise / Ultimate 32-bit / 64-bit
The task for creating a Portable Scanner on a secure removable drive, and running the Portable Scanner from a secure removable drive are not available on computers with a Windows version earlier than Windows 7 SP1.
