Configuring data transfer using a configuration file

Editing configuration files requires specialist knowledge. Incorrectly editing configuration files may cause Kaspersky Security Gateway errors.

To configure data transfer using a configuration file:

1. In any text editor, open the configuration file with the Kaspersky Security Gateway settings in the C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\Security Gateway\Settings folder:
   • ProtocolIECSettings.xml is the configuration file for the IEC 60870-5-104 protocol.
   • ProtocolOPCSettings.xml is the configuration file for the OPC DA protocol.
   • ProtocolOPCUASettings.xml is the configuration file for the OPC UA protocol.
2. Configure data transfer settings.
3. Save the configuration file.
4. Restart Kaspersky Security Gateway service to apply the new settings.
