A trusted zone is a system administrator-configured list of objects and applications that Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes does not monitor when active. The trusted zone consists of the following lists: scan exclusions and trusted applications. Then you can modify the file to, for example, add a large number of exclusions of the same type. You can also use the export/import function to back up the list of exclusions and the list of trusted applications, or to migrate the lists to a different server.
The application uses XML format for exporting and importing the list of exclusions and trusted applications:
Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes does not support exclusion lists and trusted applications lists containing over 5000 objects.
In the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console tree, select the Policies folder.
Select the necessary policy and double-click to open the policy properties.
In the policy window, select Supplementary → Trusted zone and click Settings.
To export the list of rules:
Select the Scan exclusions tab.
Select the exclusions that you want to export.
If you did not select any exclusion, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes will export all exclusions.
Click on the folder icon and select Export from the drop-down list.
In the window that opens, specify the name of the XML file to which you want to export the list of exclusions, and select the folder in which you want to save this file.
Save the file.
To export the list of trusted applications:
Select the Trusted applications tab.
This opens a window containing a list of trusted applications.
Select the trusted applications that you want to export.
If you do not select any trusted application, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes exports all trusted applications.
Click on the folder icon and select Export from the drop-down list.
This opens a window; in that window, enter the name of the XML file to which you want to export the list of trusted applications, and select the folder in which you want to save this file.
Save the file.
Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes exports the list to the XML file.
To import the list of exclusions:
Select the Scan exclusions tab.
This opens a window containing a list of exclusions.
Click on the folder icon and select Import from the drop-down list.
In the window that opens, select the XML file from which you want to import the list of exclusions.
Open the file.
If the computer already has a list of exclusions, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes will prompt you to delete the existing list or add new entries to it from the XML file.
To import a list of trusted applications:
Select the Trusted applications tab.
This opens a window containing a list of trusted applications.
Click Import.
This opens a window; in that window, select the XML file from which you want to import the list of trusted applications.
Open the file.
If the computer already has a list of trusted applications, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes will prompt you to delete the existing list or add new entries to it from the XML file.
In the main window of the Web Console, select Assets (Devices) → Policies & profiles.
Click the name of the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes policy.
The policy properties window opens.
Select the Application settings tab.
Go to Supplementary → Trusted zone and click the Configure button.
To export the list of rules:
On the Scan exclusions and trusted applications tab, select the exclusions that you want to export.
Click the three dots and select Export.
Confirm that you want to export only the selected exclusions, or export the entire list of exclusions.
Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes exports the list to the XML file.
To export the list of trusted applications:
On the Scan exclusions and trusted applications tab, select the applications that you want to export.
Click the three dots and select Export.
Confirm that you want to export only the selected applications, or export the entire list.
Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes exports the list to the XML file.
To import the list of exclusions:
On the Scan exclusions and trusted applications tab, click Import from the previous version if you want to import the list of exclusions from an XML file created in version 4.0 or earlier of the application.
If you are importing rules from an XML file created in version 4.5 or later, click Import.
If the computer already has a list of exclusions, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes will prompt you to delete the existing list or add new entries to it from the XML file.
In the window that opens, select the XML file from which you want to import the list of exclusions.
Click Import.
To import a list of trusted applications:
On the Scan exclusions and trusted applications tab, click Import from the previous version if you want to import the list of trusted applications from an XML file created in version 4.0 or earlier of the application.
If you are importing trusted applications from an XML file created in version 4.5 or later, click Import.
If the computer already has a list of trusted applications, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes will prompt you to delete the existing list or add new entries to it from the XML file.
This opens a window; in that window, select the XML file from which you want to import the list of trusted applications.
In the Application Console tree, select the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes node and select Trusted zone from the context menu of the node.
The Configure Trusted zone settings window opens.
To export the list of exclusions or trusted applications:
In the Exclusions section, click the Settings button next to the Scan exclusions or Trusted applications blocks.
Select the exclusions or trusted applications that you want to export.
Click on the folder icon and select Export.
This opens a window; in that window, enter the name of the XML file to which you want to export the list of exclusions or trusted applications, and select the folder in which you want to save this file.
Save the file.
Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes exports the list to the XML file.
