1. In the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console tree, select the Policies folder.
2. Select the necessary policy and double-click to open the policy properties.
3. In the policy window, select Application settings → Security and reliability and click Settings.
4. On the Security tab, select or clear the Start the application on computer startup (recommended) check box to enable or disable autorun for the application.
5. Save your changes.

1. In the main window of the Web Console, select Assets (Devices) → Policies & profiles.
2. Click the name of the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes policy.

   The policy properties window opens.

3. Select the Application settings tab.
4. Go to Application Settings → Security and reliability.
5. Click Configure.

   The Security and reliability window opens.

6. Use the Start the application on computer startup (recommended) check box to enable or disable automatic application startup.
7. Save your changes.

1. select the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes node in the Application Console tree.
2. Select Application properties in the node's context menu.
3. This opens a window; in that window, select the Security settings tab.
4. Use the Start the application on computer startup (recommended) check box to enable or disable automatic application startup.
5. Save your changes.

1. In the Managed devices folder in the Administration Console tree, open the folder with the name of the administration group to which the relevant client computers belong.
2. In the workspace, select the Devices tab.
3. Double-click to open the computer properties window.
4. In the computer properties window, select the Applications section.
5. In the list of Kaspersky applications installed on the computer, select Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes (4.5.0).
6. Do one of the following:
   • To start the application, click the button to the right of the list of Kaspersky applications.
   • To stop the application, click the button to the right of the list of Kaspersky applications.

1. In the main window of the Web Console, select Assets (Devices) → Managed devices.
2. Click the name of the computer on which you want to start or stop Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes.

   The computer properties window opens.

3. Select the Applications tab.
4. Select the check box opposite Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes (4.5.0).
5. Click the Start or Stop button.

1. In the Application Console tree in the workspace of the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes node, click Connect to a remote computer.
2. In the application restart message, click Yes.
3. In the Select protected device window, next to Managing service, do one of the following:
   • If you want to stop the application, click the Stop button.
   • If you want to start the application, click the Start button.

The application will be stopped or started.

The Select protected device window is also displayed if the connection to the computer on which the application is installed is lost or if the KICS service fails. You can restore the KICS service by clicking the Start button.

1. Run the command line interpreter (cmd.exe) as an administrator.
2. Using the cd command, navigate to the folder where the klpsm.exe and kavshell.exe files are located.

   For example: cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes.4.5.0

3. To start the application from the command line, execute one of the following commands:
   • klpsm.exe start_avp_service
   • KAVSHELL start [/login:<name of the current user account>] [/PWD:</login password or KLAdmin password if /login is not specified>]
4. To stop the application from the command line, execute one of the following commands:
   • klpsm.exe stop_avp_service
   • KAVSHELL stop [/login:<name of the current user account>] [/PWD:</login password or KLAdmin password if /login is not specified>]
