Configuring the scan scope in the On-Demand Scan task
If you modify the scan scope in the Scan at Operating System Startup and Critical Areas Scan tasks, you can restore the default scan scope for these tasks by repairing Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes using the Setup Wizard.
Configuring the scan scope for the On-Demand Scan task in the Kaspersky Security Center Administration Console
Open the Properties: On-Demand Scan window.Select the Scan scope section. To add scopes to the scan scope, select check boxes next to them. If you want to add a scan scope that is not on the list:Click Add . In the displayed window, select a scope, an individual disk, a folder, or a network location. If you want to include subfolders in the scan scope, select the Include subfolders check box. To exclude individual nodes from the scan scope, clear the check boxes next to the names of these nodes. To edit a scan scope, select the scan scope in the list and click Edit . To hide a previously added scan scope from the list of network file resources, select the scan scope and click Delete .The scan scope is excluded from the On-Demand Scan task scope when it is removed from the network file resource list.
Click OK . The scan scope settings window closes. The newly configured settings are saved.
Configuring the scan scope for the On-Demand Scan task in the Kaspersky Security Center Web Console
Open the On-Demand Scan window.Select the Application settings tab. To add scopes to the scan scope, select check boxes next to them and set the toggle switch to On. If you want to add a scan scope that is not on the list:Click Add . In the displayed window, select a scope, an individual disk, a folder, or a network location. If you want to include subfolders in the scan scope, select the Subfolders check box. To exclude individual nodes from the scan scope, clear the check boxes next to the names of these nodes. To edit a scan scope, select the scan scope in the list and click Edit scope . To hide a previously added scan scope from the list of network file resources, select the scan scope and click Delete .The scan scope is excluded from the On-Demand Scan task scope when it is removed from the network file resource list.
Click Save . The scan scope settings window closes. The newly configured settings are saved.
Configuring the scan scope of the On-Demand Scan task in the Application Console
In the Application Console tree, expand the On-Demand Scan node. Select the child node corresponding to an On-Demand Scan task that you want to configure. In the results pane of the selected node click the Configure protection scope link. In the displayed window, to add scopes to the scan scope, select check boxes next to them. If you want to add a scan scope that is not on the list:Click Add . In the displayed window, select a scope, an individual disk, a folder, or a network location. If you want to include subfolders in the scan scope, select the Include subfolders check box. To exclude individual nodes from the scan scope, clear the check boxes next to the names of these nodes. To edit a scan scope, select the scan scope in the list and click Edit scope . To hide a previously added scan scope from the list of network file resources, select the scan scope and click Delete .The scan scope is excluded from the On-Demand Scan task scope when it is removed from the network file resource list.
