Enabling and disabling Interaction Control rules

Interaction Control rules can be assigned a status of Enabled or Disabled. Rules are enabled by default after they are created.

You can disable rules that should not be used when Interaction Control technologies are operating in monitoring mode.

To change the status of the Interaction Control rules:

  1. Connect to the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks Server via the web interface under a user account that has been assigned a role with the access rights to perform this action.

This action can be performed by a user with any role except the Operator role.

  2. In the Allow rules section, select the Interaction Control rules for which you want to change the status.
  3. Enable or disable rules by clicking Enable or Disable. The buttons that are displayed depend on whether their corresponding operations are relevant for one or more of the selected rules.

If all rules that satisfy the current filter and search settings are selected, and the number of selected rules is more than 1000, the application does not check the status of the rules. If this is the case, the details area displays both buttons for changing the state of rules.
