Remove one device from a group

To remove a device from a group in the table:

  1. Connect to the Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks Server via the web interface under a user account that has been assigned a role with the access rights to perform this action.

    This action can be performed by a user with any role except the Operator role.

  2. Select the device in the Assets section on the Devices tab or in the Network map section.

    In the Network map section, you can select the device to remove from a group on both the network interaction map and the topology map.

    The details area appears in the right part of the web interface window.

  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the details area, go to the Settings tab.
  5. In the Group field, delete the path to the group by clicking the Icon in the form of a cross for clearing or deleting objects. icon in the field (the icon is displayed if a group is defined).
  6. Click Save.

    This button is unavailable if not all required information is specified in the device settings or if invalid values have been defined. The tab containing settings requiring corrected values is marked by the Icon in the form of a red dot. icon.

After saving the changes for the device, its Group value is cleared and the device will be assigned to the top level of the hierarchy within the group tree.
