How to enable riskware detection in Kaspersky Internet Security 19

By default, Kaspersky Internet Security 19 detects threats and viruses. However, there are some applications, known as riskware applications, which do not pose any threat by themselves but can be used for attacks.

To enable detection of legitimate programs which can be used for malicious purposes:

1. In the main window of Kaspersky Internet Security, click .

2. Go to Additional → Threats and Exclusions.

3. Select the checkbox Detect other software that can be used by criminals to damage your computer or personal data.

Detection of riskware will be enabled.

Upon enabling riskware detection, we recommend that you do the following:
