Automatic data hiding

Privacy Protection is available only in the premium version of Kaspersky Internet Security on devices with an inserted SIM card.

You have to disable data hiding to manage confidential contacts (for example, to view calls and text messages from confidential contacts) and configure Privacy Protection settings. When you have finished managing confidential contacts, you must enable data hiding again. You can enable automatic data hiding when a certain amount of time has elapsed after you have finished managing confidential contacts (after blocking the screen).

To enable automatic data hiding:

1. On the quick launch panel in the main window of Kaspersky Internet Security, tap Privacy Protection. 
2. Enter the secret code for the app.

   If you forget the secret code, you can recover it.

3. Toggle the Privacy Protection switch to Turned off.
4. Tap Settings > Privacy Protection > Advanced settings.
5. Select the time after which automatic data hiding must be enabled. Do so by selecting a value for the Automatic hiding setting.

The app will automatically enable data hiding in the specified time after turning off the screen.
