App icon in the notification area

After the First Run Wizard finishes, the icon of Kaspersky Internet Security appears in the notification area.

The icon reflects the operation of the app and provides access to the main app window.

Indication that the app is running

The icon indicates that the app is running. In the premium version, it also shows the protection status of your device:

– Protection is enabled.
– There are protection problems. For example, the anti-virus databases are outdated, or a newly installed app has not been scanned.
The appearance of the icons may vary depending on the version of the Android operating system.

In the free version of the app, the icon does not show the device protection status.

Access to the main app window

You can open the main app window using the app icon in the notification area.
