A quick scan can be used to scan only installed apps. If you are using the free version, Kaspersky Lab recommends you run a quick scan as soon as new apps are installed.
To run a quick scan,
On the quick launch panel in Kaspersky Internet Security's main window, tap Scan > Quick scan.
