Every time the app starts, Kaspersky Internet Security checks whether there is a license available for the premium version of Kaspersky Internet Security.
When the license expires, the app automatically switches to the free version.
If you are using the premium version of the app, you can view the license information to check the number of days left before your license expires.
When your license has less than 14 days left before it expires, you can renew it. To renew your license, you can:
In Kaspersky Internet Security's main window , tap > License & Account > Activate premium version.
If a license that can be used to activate the app has been found for your My Kaspersky account, Kaspersky Internet Security prompts you to use it for activation. When you select the detected license, the app automatically activates the premium version.
If you do not want to use the detected license, and instead prefer to purchase a license from Google Play, tap More ways to activate.
In Kaspersky Internet Security's main window , tap > License & Account > Activate premium version
The app may prompt you to use a license detected for your My Kaspersky account. If so, tap More ways to activate to decline to activate the app using the detected license.
If the app does not detect a license for your account, go to the next step.
Select I have an activation code.
Enter the activation code that you previously received when buying a new license.
If you received a text message (SMS) containing an activation code from your service provider, tap Find the SMS with the activation code. The app scans all text messages (SMS) on the device to find the activation code. If found, the activation code will be added automatically.
The activation code is applied and your license is renewed.
