“Incident status statistics” report generation task: Configuring settings

To configure a "Statistics on statuses of incidents", report creation task:

1. In the Management Console tree, select the Reports node.

   The Report generation tasks section displays a list of tasks. For the tasks of creation of "Statistics on statuses of incidents", the Report type field contains the Statistics on statuses of incidents value.

2. Select a task in the list and click the Change button.

   The Task settings dialog will appear.

3. On the Basic tab, select the policies and incidents to be included in the report. To do so, configure the following settings:
   • By all categories

     The application selects for the report the incidents and policies created on the basis of all existing categories.

     This option is selected by default.

   • By selected categories

     The application selects for the report the incidents and policies created on the basis of specified categories.

     If you select this option, the list of categories becomes available.

     The list contains the names of all currently existing categories. You can select incidents and policies for the report by selecting check boxes next to the relevant categories.

4. Use the Additional tab to configure report delivery settings:
   • To security officer

     A policy violation notification is sent to the addresses of security officers.

     If the check box is selected, the application sends the report that has been generated to the address(es) of security officers. The address or a list of addresses of security officers must be specified in advance in the Data Leak Prevention node.

     If the check box is cleared, the application does not send reports to addresses of security officers.

     The check box is cleared by default.

   • Additionally

     Sending reports to additional addresses.

     If this check box is selected, the application sends the generated report to additional email addresses specified in the entry field.

     If the check box is cleared, the application does not send the report to additional addresses.

     The check box is cleared by default.

5. Configure the task run mode on the Schedule tab. To do so, configure the following settings:
   • Generate scheduled report

     Enabling automatic report generation.

     If the check box is selected, the application automatically generates the report according to the schedule configured in the task.

     If the check box is cleared, the report is not generated automatically.

     The check box is selected by default.

   • Every N days

     The application automatically starts the task at the specified time and at the specified interval.

     When this option is selected, the Every N days and Start time fields become available, letting you specify the interval in days and the task start time.

   • Weekly

     The application automatically runs the task weekly, according to the schedule that you have set up.

     When this option is selected, the Start day and Start time fields become available, letting you specify the day of the week and the task start time.

   • Monthly

     The application automatically starts the task once per month on the selected day and at the specified time.

     When this option is selected, the Day of month and Start time fields become available, letting you specify the day of the month as an ordinal number and the task start time.

6. Click OK to save the changes.
