Administration Server and DBMS

The data of the Administration Server and Identity and Access Manager (IAM) are stored in separate databases within the same DBMS.

Data flow from the Administration Server.

Administration Server, Identity and Access Manager, and DBMS

If you install the Administration Server and the database on different devices, you must make available the necessary ports on the device where the database is located (for example, port 3306 for MariaDB). Please refer to the DBMS documentation for the relevant information.
The port for connecting IAM to the DBMS is specified by a user during Kaspersky Security Center Linux installation.

The Administration Server does not automatically remove the Administration Server database and the IAM database when uninstalling or moving the server to another device. If necessary, you must remove the databases manually.
