If a device with Administration Server is inoperable due to a failure, you are recommended to perform the following actions:
The new Administration Server must be assigned the same DNS name.
If a static IP address was set in the Network Agent installation package when Network Agents were deployed, you must also assign the same IP address to the new Administration Server. Alternatively, you can use the connection address that determines the Administration Server to which Network Agent connects (you can obtain this address on managed devices by using the klnagchk utility).
In the IAM configuration file, set the server_iam.ksc_address parameter to exactly the same Administration Server address that is specified in the Subject Alternative Name (SAN) of the previously used Administration Server certificate.
Install Administration Server, using a DBMS of the same type, of the same (or later) version. You can install the same version of Server with the same (or later) patch, or a later version. After installation, do not perform the initial setup through the wizard.
