Upgrading by installing the application on a new server

To upgrade the Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server to KSMG 2.1.1 by installing it on a new server:

1. Prepare the new server that satisfies the hardware and software requirements of KSMG.
2. Install and configure the Postfix or Exim mail server to perform email traffic routing functions.

   Use the same mail server settings as on the server that you are migrating from.

3. Save the settings and data of Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server from the server that you are migrating from.
4. Complete the steps for installing a new version of the application.
