Disabling the Network Threat Protection and Web Threat Protection components in Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Linux

You must disable the protection components while you are installing KSMG and performing initial configuration.

To disable the Network Threat Protection and Web Threat Protection components using Kaspersky Security Center:

1. Open the group policy for editing.
2. In the Application settings section, select the Essential Threat Protection tab, and click the Web Threat Protection link.
3. Clear the Web Threat Protection check box.
4. In the Application settings section, select the Essential Threat Protection tab, and click the Network Threat Protection link.
5. Clear the Network Threat Protection check box.
6. Save your group policy changes.

To temporarily disable the Network Threat Protection and Web Threat Protection components using the command line:

kesl-control --stop-task Network_Threat_Protection

kesl-control --stop-task Web_Threat_Protection
