Configuring the template for notifications when removing an attachment

If, as a result of scanning the message, KSMG deleted an attachment, a deleted_attachment.txt file is added to the attachments of the message; this file contains information about the deleted object.

You can customize the template of the deleted_attachment.txt notification file. For example, you can add contact information for reporting false positives.

To configure the template for attachment deletion notifications:

1. In the main window of the application web interface, select the Settings → Message processing section.
2. Under Templates, for the Notification about deleted attachment template, click the Edit link.

   Only users with the Edit settings permission can edit the notification template.

3. In the window that is displayed, use the text field to enter the text of the notification to be added to messages that have attachments deleted by KSMG.

   You can use macros in the notification template. To do so, click Add macro and select the relevant macro from the drop-down list. Possible macros are listed in the table below.

4. When you are done editing the notification text is ready, click OK to save.
