This functionality is available only if the user has the Create/edit rules permission.
To create a disclaimer template or a warning about insecure message template:
In the application web interface window, select the Rules section.
Select the Warnings and disclaimers tab.
Click Create.
This opens the template creation window.
In the Name field, enter the template name.
In the Position drop-down list, select the location of the disclaimer or warning text in the message. Possible values: At the beginning, At the end. The default location is At the end.
Under Standard text, enter the text of the disclaimer or warning to be added to the message:
In the Plain text field, enter the text of the disclaimer or warning to be added to plain text messages.
If you want to also use the text from the Plain text to be added to messages in HTML format, turn on the Use plain text in HTML toggle switch.
If you want to use a different text to add to HTML messages, turn off the Use plain text in HTML toggle switch, and in the displayed HTML text field, enter your text.
To view the result, click Preview HTML.
If you want the template to also include a separate disclaimer or warning text for messages with incorrect or unspecified encoding, under Text for messages with no charset or with invalid charset, turn on the Use another text toggle switch.
This toggle switch is off by default. The same text is used for messages with incorrect or unspecified encoding as for other messages.
In the Plain text field that is displayed, enter the text of the disclaimer or warning to be added to plain text messages.
The maximum length of each line of text is 998 ASCII characters.
If you want to also use the text from the Plain text to be added to messages in HTML format, turn on the Use plain text in HTML toggle switch.
If you want to use a different text to add to HTML messages, turn off the Use plain text in HTML toggle switch, and in the displayed HTML text field, enter your text.
The maximum length of each line of text is 998 ASCII characters.
