Kaspersky Small Office Security for personal computers and file servers protects personal computers running a Microsoft Windows operating system and file servers running a Microsoft Windows Server operating system against computer security threats.
To install the application, you are advised to use the installation package downloaded from the Kaspersky Small Office Security Management Console portal. In this case, the application will automatically be activated and connect to the Kaspersky Small Office Security Management Console portal when it is started for the first time.
If you use an installation package received by other means (for example, downloaded from the Kaspersky Lab website), you must manually activate the application with an activation code and connect it to the Kaspersky Small Office Security Management Console portal using a Kaspersky Small Office Security administrator account.
To install Kaspersky Small Office Security:
The application will be installed to the personal computer together with browser extensions that ensure safe use of the Internet. Otherwise, installation to a file server and to a personal computer is performed the same way.
When installation completes, the application is automatically activated and connects to the Kaspersky Small Office Security Management Console portal.
If Microsoft Windows 10 RS 2 is installed on the personal computers of your employees, you can set Kaspersky Small Office Security as your default anti-virus application by using group policies in Windows.
