Kaspersky Internet Security for Mac

Kaspersky Internet Security for Mac (hereinafter referred to as "Kaspersky Internet Security" in this section) protects computers running the OS X operating system from viruses and other computer security threats.

To install the application, you are advised to use the installation package downloaded from the Kaspersky Small Office Security Management Console portal. In this case, the application will automatically be activated and connect to the Kaspersky Small Office Security Management Console portal when it is started for the first time.

If you use an installation package received by other means (for example, downloaded from the Kaspersky Lab website), you must manually activate the application with an activation code and connect it to the Kaspersky Small Office Security Management Console portal using a Kaspersky Small Office Security administrator account.

To install Kaspersky Internet Security:

1. Open the installation package for Kaspersky Internet Security (.dmg file) downloaded from the Kaspersky Small Office Security Management Console portal.
2. In the window that opens, start installation of the application by clicking the Install Kaspersky Internet Security button.
3. In the Install Kaspersky Internet Security window, click the Download and Install button.
4. During the installation process, you must accept the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement. If you do not accept the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement, you must cancel installation of Kaspersky Internet Security and you must not use the application.
5. You can participate in Kaspersky Security Network after accepting the terms and conditions of the Kaspersky Security Network Statement. If you do not accept the terms and conditions of the Kaspersky Security Network Statement, clear the I accept the terms of participation in Kaspersky Security Network check box and continue installation.

   An infrastructure of cloud services that provides access to the Kaspersky Lab database with constantly updated information about the reputation of files, web resources, and software. Use of data from Kaspersky Security Network ensures faster responses by Kaspersky Lab applications to threats, improves the performance of some protection components, and reduces the likelihood of false positives.

6. In the window prompting for administrator account credentials, enter the computer administrator's name and password and confirm that you want to install Kaspersky Internet Security.

   Installation of Kaspersky Internet Security continues.

7. After installation is complete, click the Done button to exit the setup wizard.

   Kaspersky Internet Security will automatically start, activate, and connect to the Kaspersky Small Office Security Management Console portal.
