Settings in the setup.ini file
The setup.ini file contains Kaspersky Security installation settings and is used when installing Light Agent for Windows from the command line or using the directory service group policy mechanism.
The setup.ini file is divided into sections, each section contains a specific group of settings.
Setup section Setting Description InstallDir The path to the application installation folder. The default value depends on operating system: EulaAndPrivacyPolicy Accept or decline the terms of Kaspersky Security End User License Agreement between you and Kaspersky and the Privacy Policy that describes processing and transmission of data. Possible values: 1 – accept the terms of the End User License Agreement and the Privacy Policy, 0 – do not accept the terms of the End User License Agreement and the Privacy Policy. You must accept the terms of the End User License Agreement and the Privacy Policy to install Kaspersky Security. Login User name for managing the application functions and settings. Default value: KLAdmin. Password Password for managing the application functions and settings. The password is not set by default. PasswordArea Define the scope of the password for managing the application functions and settings. Possible values: Use the ";" character as a delimiter to specify multiple values. Default value: SET, EXIT, UNINST. SelfProtection Enable or disable self-defense when installing the application. Possible values: 1 – self-defense is enabled, 0 – self-defense is disabled. Default value: 1. Reboot Allow or block automatic reboot of the virtual machine, if required after installation. Possible values: 1 – reboot is allowed, 0 – reboot is not allowed. Default value: 0. MSExclusions Add the scopes recommended by Microsoft to scan exclusions. Possible values: 1 – add the applications recommended by Microsoft to exclusions, 0 – do not add the applications recommended by Microsoft to exclusions. Default value: 1. KLExclusions Add the scopes recommended by Kaspersky to scan exclusions. Possible values: 1 – add the applications recommended by Kaspersky to exclusions, 0 – do not add the applications recommended by Kaspersky to exclusions. Default value: 1. AddEnviroment Add the paths to the application executable files to the %PATH% system variable. Possible values: 1 – add the paths to the %PATH% variable, 0 – do not add the paths to the %PATH% variable. Default value: 1. InstallOnPVS Install Light Agent on a virtual machine that uses the Citrix Provisioning technology (Citrix Provisioning Services). Possible values: 1 – Citrix Provisioning technology (Citrix Provisioning Services) is used, 0 - Citrix Provisioning technology (Citrix Provisioning Services) is not used. Default value: 0. EnableGuiProcess Enable or disable the local application interface on the virtual machine. Possible values: 1 – start the local interface, 0 – do not start the local interface. Default value: 1.
Components section Setting Description MailAntiVirus Install the Mail Anti-Virus component. Possible values: 1 – install the component, 0 – do not install the component. Default value: 1 – on operating systems for workstations, 0 - on server operating systems. WebAntiVirus Install the Web Anti-Virus component. Possible values: 1 – install the component, 0 – do not install the component. Default value: 1 (on operating systems for workstations). The component is not installed on server operating systems. ApplicationPrivilegeControl Install the Application Privilege Control component. Possible values: 1 – install the component, 0 – do not install the component. Default value: 1 (on operating systems for workstations). The component is not installed on server operating systems. SystemWatcher Install the System Watcher component. Possible values: 1 – install the component, 0 – do not install the component. Default value: 1 – on operating systems for workstations, 0 - on server operating systems. Firewall Install the Firewall component. Possible values: 1 – install the component, 0 – do not install the component. Default value: 1 – on operating systems for workstations, 0 - on server operating systems. NetworkAttackBlocker Install the Network Attack Blocker component. Possible values: 1 – install the component, 0 – do not install the component. Default value: 1 – on operating systems for workstations, 0 - on server operating systems. WebControl Install the Web Control component. Possible values: 1 – install the component, 0 – do not install the component. Default value: 1 (on operating systems for workstations). The component is not installed on server operating systems. DeviceControl Install the Device Control component. Possible values: 1 – install the component, 0 – do not install the component. Default value: 1 (on operating systems for workstations). The component is not installed on server operating systems. IntegrityMonitor Install the System Integrity Monitoring component. Possible values: 1 – install the component, 0 – do not install the component. Default value: 1 (on server operating systems). The component is not installed on operating systems for workstations. ApplicationStartupControl Install the Application Startup Control component. Possible values: 1 – install the component, 0 – do not install the component. Default value: 1 – on operating systems for workstations, 0 - on server operating systems. AdminKitConnector Install the Network Agent Connector component. Possible values: 1 – install the component, 0 – do not install the component. Default value: 1. AntiAPTFeature Integration with Kaspersky Endpoint Agent installed on a protected virtual machine (together with Light Agent for Windows). Possible values: 1 – enable integration with Kaspersky Endpoint Agent, 0 – do not enable integration with Kaspersky Endpoint Agent. Default value: 0. AmsiProtectionProvider Install the AMSI Protection component. Possible values: 1 – install the component, 0 – do not install the component. Default value: 1 – on operating systems for workstations, 0 - on server operating systems.
Tasks section Setting Description ScanMyComputer Create the Full scan task. Possible values: 1 – the task is available in the application, 0 - the task is unavailable. Default value: 1. ScanCritical Create the Critical Areas Scan task. Possible values: 1 – the task is available in the application, 0 - the task is unavailable. Default value: 1.
