为确保应用程序正常运行，虚拟机上安装的 Light Agent 必须连接到带有 Protection Server 的 SVM。
Light Agent 只能连接到 Protection Server 组件的版本与 Light Agent 组件的版本兼容的 SVM。Light Agent 和 Protection Server 组件的版本在单一版本的 Kaspersky Security 内兼容。
Light Agent 建立并支持与 SVM 的连接，以将文件片段发送到 Protection Server 进行扫描。如果 Light Agent 未连接到任何 SVM，Protection Server 不会扫描文件。如果 Light Agent l在扫描任务运行期间未能连接 SVM 超过 5 分钟，则扫描任务将暂停并返回错误。
关于 Light Agent 与 SVM 连接中断和恢复的信息以 Kaspersky Security Center 事件形式保存在 Light Agent for Windows 的本地界面中。
要连接到 SVM，Light Agent 必须接收有关可连接的 SVM 的信息。Light Agent 根据 SVM 选择算法选择一个对连接最优的可用 SVM。
建议考虑到 Light Agent 上可用的一些功能取决于用来激活 Light Agent 连接的 SVM 上的应用程序的授权许可类型。
