Configuring integration in KUMA

It is recommended to configure integration of KICS for Networks and KUMA after ending Process Control rules learning mode. For more details, please refer to the KICS for Networks documentation.

To configure integration with KICS for Networks or KATA in KUMA:

  1. In the KUMA web interface, open the Settings → Integrations → KICS/KATA section.

This opens the KICS/KATA server integration by tenant window.

  2. Click the Add settings for a new tenant button.
  3. This opens a window; in that window, specify the following KICS for Networks or KATA integration settings:
    • Turn on the State toggle switch. The toggle switch is turned on by default.
    • In the Tenant drop-down list, select a tenant for the integration with KICS for Networks or KATA.
    • Enable the Enable responses toggle switch to be able to change the statuses of KICS for Networks or KATA assets using KUMA response rules.
  4. In the area with the Connections table, add a new connection by clicking the + Add button.
  5. This opens the Create connection window; in that window, manage the following settings:
    • Turn on the State toggle switch. The toggle switch is turned on by default.
    • In the Communication data package field, click the add (plus_icon) icon and select the communication data package of the connector that was created in KICS for Networks or KATA when creating a connector for the KUMA connection.
    • In the Communication data package password field, enter the password set for the communication data package.
    • In the API version field, specify the API version used by KICS for Networks or KATA. The default value is Auto (version 4.0).

KATA 7.1 does not support API versions earlier than 4.0.

  6. Click Save.

The created connection is automatically displayed in the table of connections of the selected tenant.

  7. If necessary, add more connections within the same tenant.
  8. In the KICS/KATA integration by tenant window, click Add.
