Installing the Samba service
To install the Samba service and the packages necessary for operation of the Samba service, run one of the following commands depending on the utilized operating system:
- CentOS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux:
yum install samba samba-client samba-winbind samba-winbind-clients krb5-workstation - SUSE Linux Enterprise Server:
zypper install samba samba-client samba-winbind - Ubuntu or Debian:
apt-get install samba winbind
