What's new

The following improvements were made to Kaspersky Web Traffic Security 6.1:

  1. Distribution kit modified. Kaspersky Web Traffic Security is delivered as:

    In both cases, installation on physical and virtual servers is supported.

  2. Traffic processing rule settings updated:
  3. Role-based user access to specific workspaces can now be configured.
  4. Proxy server settings can now be managed шт the application web interface (only for ISO image installation):
  5. The system of roles within a cluster was modified:
    • The separation of Worker server and Master server roles has been discontinued.
    • Components for managing application settings and processing traffic have been combined into a single package.
  6. Block page functionality was expanded:
    • New macros were added.
    • A separate block page for a workspace can now be configured.
  7. Integration with Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack Platform (KATA) has been added. Two modes were implemented:
    • Send files from user traffic to KATA (connect KWTS as an external KATA system).
    • Receive information about objects detected by KATA (use information about KATA detections in traffic processing rules).
  8. You can now configure the time zone and time synchronization of the server over the NTP protocol (only for ISO image deployment).
  9. The web category Cryptocurrencies and mining was added.
  10. Generation of reports about application operation events has been implemented.
  11. Detection of phishing and malicious links is now distinguished.
  12. A new type of object Malicious link was added in protection rules.
