Selecting an integration mode

The integration mode can be selected only when a KATA server has been added.

To select the KATA integration mode:

1. In the application web interface, select the Settings → External services → KATA integration section.
2. In the KATA integration mode settings group, enable the necessary integration mode by using the following toggle switches:
   • Receiving objects.

     Kaspersky Web Traffic Security receives objects detected by KATA and use the information about these objects in protection rules and in the default protection policy.

   • Uploading files.

     Kaspersky Web Traffic Security is authorized as an external system in KATA. Files from scanned user traffic that satisfy the configured criteria are sent to KATA. Kaspersky Web Traffic Security will not wait for the results of scanning the sent files.

   These modes work independent of each other. You can enable one of the modes or both modes at the same time.

3. Click Save.

The KATA integration mode is selected. Depending on the selected mode, the Nodes section displays information panes regarding the integration status.
