Removing the application deployed from an ISO image

After the application is removed, all information related to it is lost.

Removing the application deployed on a virtual machine

Removing the application involves the following steps:

  1. Disable load balancing for the cluster node that you are removing.
  2. Stop traffic processing requests.

To do so, make sure that users' browsers are configured to relay traffic to the load balancer or to another cluster node.

  3. Removing a node from a cluster
  4. Shutting down the virtual machine
  5. Deleting the virtual machine

You can remove the whole virtual machine, including virtual disk files and snapshot files.

Removing the application deployed on a physical server

Removing the application involves the following steps:

  1. Disable load balancing for the cluster node that you are removing.
  2. Stop traffic processing requests.

To do so, make sure that users' browsers are configured to relay traffic to the load balancer or to another cluster node.

  3. Removing a node from a cluster
  4. Overwriting the data on the server hard drive

To completely erase the application from the physical server, we recommended repeatedly overwriting the current data on the hard drive of the server with random data using specialized software.
