Decommissioning and removing the old Secondary node

To decommission and remove the old Secondary node:

1. Stop web traffic processing requests from to the old Secondary node by evenly distributing the load among the rest of the cluster nodes.

   The exact steps depend on the balancing method that you are using and on how users connect to the proxy server.

2. If necessary, make backup copies of the logs of the built-in proxy server and other operating system services. When you delete a virtual machine, the logs are lost with it.
3. Remove the node from the cluster.
4. Delete the virtual machine to free up resources and IP addresses for new cluster nodes.
