KL 135.10: Kaspersky Security for Storage

The course explains how to protect network-attached storages (NAS) with Kaspersky Lab products. Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server allows organizing real-time antivirus scanning for a NAS. You will learn how to deploy a network storage from scratch, how to organize real-time antivirus scanning for it, and how to configure web traffic scanning via ICAP in Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server.

The course is designed for Microsoft Windows Server system administrators responsible for storage protection.

The course consists of theoretical presentations that explain operation principles of Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server and provide recommendations on how to configure the product, and demonstrations. The demonstrations show how to achieve the desired result using Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server. Every demonstration is coupled with an interactive tutorial, where you will need to perform the same actions yourself. Audio is added for better perception.


Student Prerequisites


Basic experience with virtualization and networking.


System Requirements


To fully experience this training you need the following:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
  • Flash Player 9 or later
  • Minimum display resolution 1280×960
  • Sound card, speakers or a headphones for listening to voice-over


NB: If access to the course is granted, but flash movies are not downloaded properly, please ensure that outbound TCP connections to the port 8080 are not blocked by any kind of Firewall (local or on the gateway).
