Activating the MDR solution in Kaspersky applications

We recommend using the latest versions of Kaspersky applications and solutions to ensure the best protection and get full access to new features and updates.

To activate the MDR solution in Kaspersky applications:

  1. Provide a new activation code.
  2. Activate the MDR solution on your assets.

An MDR configuration (BLOB) file can be used to activate the MDR solution for any supported application. Once generated, the BLOB file expires in 5 years, even if the license is perpetual or issued for a longer term.

An activation code or key file can be used to activate specific applications and versions depending on the license. See the list of topics below.

  3. Connect your assets to Kaspersky Security Network.

The MDR solution can operate without KPSN configuration files only with specific applications and versions.
