Licensing troubleshooting

If you have activated the MDR solution on your assets, and the Licensing section in the MDR Web Console shows fewer assets than are connected to the MDR solution, refer to the following list of possible causes and their respective solutions.

Multiple MDR licenses are being used

Solution:

Activate all MDR licenses in the MDR plugin. The MDR Web Console does not support activating multiple MDR licenses.

The MDR solution was activated on the assets prior to 01.01.2024 using the MDR configuration (BLOB) file

Solution 1:

  1. Download a new MDR configuration (BLOB) file:
  2. Apply the new MDR configuration (BLOB) file on your assets.

Solution 2:

Apply an activation code to activate the MDR solution on your assets.

Some of your assets use the Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows version 12.9 or earlier, and the MDR solution on these assets is activated with a key file

Solution:

Apply an activation code to activate the MDR solution on your assets. Activating with a key file on such assets has limited support and is not recommended.
