Upgrading Kaspersky Security Integration with SolarWinds N-central

When Kaspersky releases a new version of Kaspersky Security Integration with SolarWinds N-central, you must manually remove files in the old version from SolarWinds N-central and add files in the new version to SolarWinds N-central. The upgrade procedure has no effect on Kaspersky security applications installed on client devices.

To upgrade Kaspersky Security Integration with SolarWinds N-central to a new version:

1. Remove the existing automation policies:
   1. In SolarWinds N-central, in the Configuration section, click Scheduled Tasks → Script/Software Repository.
   2. Find the Kaspersky automation policies. If necessary, type Kaspersky in the search field.
   3. Select the check boxes next to the Kaspersky Scan and Kaspersky Update automation policies.
   4. Click the Delete button.
   5. In the confirmation window that opens, click the Delete button.

   The old versions of the automation policies are removed from SolarWinds N-central.

2. Download and deploy the automation policies and the service of the new version.

The new versions of the Kaspersky Scan and Kaspersky Update automation policies and the Kaspersky AV Status service are added to SolarWinds N-central. The Kaspersky AV Status automation policy is automatically updated.
