In Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 you can postpone automatic application startup to speed up loading of the operating system.

Still, it is not recommended to use this option, as Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 will not scan network connections established before the application is launched. For example, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 will not intercept actions of malicious programs that receive or send data at the operating system startup.

To enable/disable delayed automatic startup of the application:

  1. Open Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014.
  2. In the bottom right corner of the window, click Setting.

  1. In the Setting window, go to the Performance section.
  2. In the right part of the window, check/clear the Concede resources to operating system when the computer starts section.

  1. Close the application window.
