Before you install the service, make sure that the user account, under which the KSHSecurityService will start, has the appropriate privileges.

For correct operation of Kaspersky Security 8.0 for SharePoint Servers MP1, the account used for the application installation should have the following privileges:

  • Local Administrator privileges on the computer where the application will be installed;
  • SharePoint Farm Administrator privileges. These rights are required for correct operation of the Application Configuration Wizard. Without these rights, the application will be installed successfully but the Application Configuration Wizard will not be available for configuring the initial settings;
  • Administrator privileges for the SharePoint_Config and SharePoint_AdminContent_UID databases (as for the account created to run Kaspersky Security 8.0 for SharePoint Servers MP1). Without these rights, SharePoint server settings cannot be configured. At the final stage of the installation, when copying the files are registering the components, a corresponding error message will appear.

     When the error message appears, click the Ignore button in the dialog box and, when the installation finishes, reboot the IIS service using the iisreset / restart command.
