Description

When downloading files with unwanted content or files with virus signatures to a SharePoint server via Windows Explorer, the file will appear in the SharePoint server library, but it will be empty.

If the downloaded file contains unwanted words in its name, this file will be blocked and will not be displayed on the server.

Reason

When copying a file via Windows Explorer, it first creates an empty file and then relays a zero-length file to Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Microsoft SharePoint Servers MP1 for scanning. Only after that it tries to record the content blocked by Kaspersky Security 8.0 for Microsoft SharePoint Servers MP1 into the initial file. This behavior is related to a "delayed write" feature of MRxDAV/WebDAV when copying the files.
