The article concerns:
Google Cloud Messaging allows to accelerate the synchronization of mobile devices with Kaspersky Security Center 10.
You can use this feature in order to execute anti-theft commands and apply policies. When such commands and policies are executed, Firebase Cloud Messaging sends force synchronization commands to Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android so that it synchronizes with the Administration Server. If you use are not using Firebase Cloud Messaging for synchronization, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android will receive policies and commands only during regular synchronization.
To get Sender API Key and ID, you have to create a new project in Firebase Developers Console or import an existing one from Google Developers Console.
To register Google Cloud Messaging, add the Sender ID and the API key to Kaspersky Security Center 10. To do this:
Release of antivirus database updates (required to protect your computer/server/mobile device)
Providing technical support over phone / web
Release of patches for the application (addressing detected bugs)
