If you encounter the error message "Failed to enable some protection components of Kaspersky Total Security" after the installation of Kaspersky Total Security 2016, do the following:

  1. Download the Kaspersky Total Security installer.
  2. Make sure you have the activation code saved on your computer or other media.
  3. Remove Kaspersky Total Security.
  4. Restart your computer.
  5. Install Kaspersky Total Security.
  6. Activate the application.
