Safe Browser error message "Kaspersky Total Security is not providing complete protection of your data: HIPS protection is disabled"

When opening a protected browser window in Kaspersky Total Security 2016, you may encounter the error message: "Kaspersky Total Security is not providing complete protection of your data: HIPS protection is disabled".

To fix the problem, do the following:  


  1. Open the settings of Kaspersky Total Security 2016.
  2. In the Settings view, go to the Protection tab.
  3. In the right frame of the Settings view, click the switch of the Application Control component to the On position.

If you encounter the error message that HIPS is disabled when using Safe Money, enable Application Control

  1. Run Safe Money once again.
