Regular database update is vital necessary for solid protection against new threats. File Anti-Virus, Web Anti-Virus, and virus scan tasks use antivirus databases for detection and disinfection of viruses and other threats. Antivirus databases are updated with new entries on threats and disinfection methods every hour, so we recommend that you regularly update antivirus databases for your application.

By default, Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Mac uses special Kaspersky Lab update servers as an update source. Also, you can use Kaspersky Security Center servers as an update source.

To download updates, the application requires Internet connection.
