Error "Kaspersky Fraud Prevention is not providing complete protection of your data: HIPS protection is disabled" when opening Protected Browser

When opening a protected browser window in Kaspersky Fraud Prevention 5.0 for Endpoints, you may encounter the error message: "Kaspersky Fraud Prevention is not providing complete protection of your data: HIPS protection is disabled".

To eliminate the problem:

  1. Enable display of hidden files and folders.
  2. Open Windows Explorer by using the keyboard shortcut Win+E.

  1. Paste the folder Address in the following folder: C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\SM5.0.0\Data.
  2. Press Enter.
  3. Right-click profiles.xml file and select Edit.

  1. In the profiles window, find the line <tWORD name="enabled"> and set value 1.

  1. In the profiles window, find <key name="Hips"><key name="data">  and change the values for the lines <tDWORD name="enabled"> and <tDWORD name="installed"> for 1.

  1. Save the changes, close the profiles file.
  2. Start Safe Money once again.
