Safe Money not available in Kaspersky Fraud Prevention 6 for Endpoints

Safe Money might be unavailable if Kaspersky Fraud Prevention 6 for Endpoints Self-Defense is disabled. Make sure Self-Defense is enabled:

  1. Boot the computer in Safe Mode.
  2. Open Registry Editor.
  3. Find the keys EnableSelfProtection and AllowServiceStop in the following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\SM5.0.0\settings or  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KasperskyLab\SM6.0.0\settings
  4. Make sure EnableSelfProtection has the value 1, and AllowServiceStop has the value 0.

  1. If the values are different, correct them, one at a time. Right-click the key and select Modify.

  1. In the Edit value window, set the correct value and click OK.

  1. Restart your computer.
