To install Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server with integrated critical fix KB13463, use one of the methods below:

Remote installation through Kaspersky Security Center 10:

  1. Create the installation package for Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server and the remote installation task.  
  2. Replace the files ks4ws_x64.msi and ks4ws_x86.msi in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Security Center\Share\Packages\WSEE_10.0.0.486\exec folder with the files from the downloaded archive. 
  3. Run the Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server remote installation task.

Local installation

  1. Replace the ks4ws_x64.msi and ks4ws_x86.msi files in the %systemdrive%\ks4ws\10.0.0.486\english\server\ folder with the files from the downloaded archive.
  2. Run the installation of Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server.

To check if the installation was successful:

  1. Open %windir%\System32\drivers.
  2. Open the properties of the klif.sys file.
  3. Go to the Details tab and check the version of the file.

8.12.2.159 is the version with the critical fix, and 8.12.2.84 is the commercial release version.

To add the information about the installed patch to the About the application window, run the Software Modules Update task on all the servers with Kaspersky Security 10 for Windows Server.
