Click the keys of the On-Screen Keyboard to enter text. Make sure you have entered the text in the appropriate box.

Clicking Shift, Alt, or Ctrl enables special input modes. For example, if you click Shift, the characters you enter will be capitalized. To disable a special input mode, click the modifier key once again.
To switch the keyboard layout, press Ctrl on your hardware keyboard and right-click Shift on the On-Screen Keyboard. Or, press Shift on your hardware keyboard and right-click Ctrl on the On-Screen Keyboard.
You can still use your usual shortcuts on the hardware keyboard. Please note that you can also switch the input language by using your usual shortcuts on the hardware keyboard (be it Ctrl+Shift, Shift+Alt or other).
To use keyboard combinations (e.g. Alt+F4):
- Click the first key, Alt.
- Then click the second key, F4.
- Click the first key again.
The second click of the key acts in the same way as releasing the key on a hardware keyboard.
