How to configure time synchronization between the nodes (NTP and PTP)

Automatic time synchronization must be configured for industrial networks so that it is possible to correlate the events and issues occurring in the network. We recommend that you configure the time synchronization with the tools of the operating systems on which the solution components are installed.  

Synchronization must be performed using the single time source used by the industrial network. You can use standard Network Time Protocol (NTP) and Precision Time Protocol (PTP) protocols for time synchronization.
