How to set a scope for integrity monitoring in Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.0 Light Agent

The article concerns Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent version 5.0.
 
 
 
 

You can set a scope for the Integrity Check task in the Light Agent policy properties:

If the Define Integrity Check scope checkbox is not selected, the scope of the task is the same as the scope of the Integrity Monitoring component. 

  1. Select Integrity Monitoring.
  2. Click Settings.

  1. In the Integrity Monitoring rules window, click Add.

  1. Enter the name for the rule and the event importance level and click Add.

Configuring the integrity monitoring rule

  1. Enter the path to a file or folder or the mask for the path. You can use the following symbols:
    • ? — stands for one character. This must be an existing character.
    • * — stands for any number of characters. May stand for zero characters.
  2. If necessary, select the checkbox Include files in subfolders.
  3. Enter the name or the mask for a file. You can use the following symbols:
    • ? — stands for one character. This must be an existing character.
    • * — stands for any number of characters. May stand for zero characters.

Adding files and folders to the scope.

  1. Save the rule and the policy.
