How to configure Automatic Exploit Prevention in Kaspersky Small Office Security 6

Exploits are malicious programs that exploit computer vulnerabilities to install other malicious programs. Exploits most often attack browsers, as well as programs such as Adobe Flash, Java, and Microsoft Office.
Kaspersky Small Office Security blocks exploits from running and prevents further infection of the computer. The lists of applications with vulnerabilities are updated together with the anti-virus databases. To learn how to update the databases, please refer to this article.
How to configure Automatic Exploit Prevention
- In the main window of Kaspersky Small Office Security, click the settings button in the lower-left corner. To learn how to open the application, please refer to the instructions in this article.
- Go to the Protection section and click System Watcher.
- In the Automatic Exploit Prevention section, enable or disable this feature. To do so, select or clear the Monitor attempts to perform unauthorized operations check box.
- Select an action to be performed when a threat is detected:
- Select action automatically. The application automatically takes the action determined by Kaspersky Lab experts.
- Allow action
- Block action
The Automatic Exploit Prevention settings will be applied.
