How to manually set or remove security tags in Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.x Light Agent

Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent can assign security tags to the protected virtual machine:

  • ANTI_VIRUS.VirusFound.threat=high is assigned to the SVM on whcih viruses or other threats were detected.
  • IDS_IPS.threat=high is assigned to the VM in the traffic of which the network attack related activty was detected.

You can assign and remove security tags manually in the VMware vSphere Web Client console:

  • In the virtual machine properties.
  • In the VMware NSX Manager properties for one or more VMs.
